The Adjustment Bureau

I had no plans of watching this since the trailer didn't appeal to me but apparently it did to Mon so off we watched!

The story is about David, a senatoriable who met Elise, a contemporary ballet dancer, on the night he lost the elections. He was supposed to never see her again but an unexpected turn of events made him did so. The Grand Plan was not for them to be together and the men of The Adjustment Bureau will do everything in their power to keep them apart. Even with the knowledge of The Chairman's plan for him, David chose to defy Fate to be with Elise.

The Adjustment Bureau is a love story for grown-ups. No high school kilig factor of any sort but instead it focuses on more important things like self-realization, happiness, and contentment. it's about love in its purest form.

Favorite quote from the movie:

"Most people live life on the path we set for them. Too afraid to explore any other. But once in a while people like you come along and knock down all the obstacles we put in your way. People who realize free will is a gift, you'll never know how to use until you fight for it. I think that's The Chairman's real plan. And maybe, one day, we won't write the plan. You will." - Harry Mitchell
